Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault. Bright, ripe, pure fruit nose. Black fruit, sloe berries, dark and tarry. Brambles and thick cough-medicine and crushed black-olive bitterness. Full of sturdy meaty Bandol character, but the very chewy muscular tannins are formidable and quite dry. (TC)
