In Bandol, the 2010 vintage suffered from disadvantageous weather conditions. Some regular rainfalls during both winter and spring watered the grounds and permitted the water rebuilding.
On the whole appellation, spring was very windy and the humidity rate was higher to compare to normality.
In June, the heavy rains, and especially the strong rains on the 15th, favored the mildew development in some place.
During the summer, the temperatures balance was below average and normality. The hot season only came at the beginning of July, with a strong Mistral, and overpowered more or less the mildew progression on the leaves.
To compare to previous vintage, the vines were less affected by the drought thanks to the rather mild temperatures and the cool nights.
The weather of September was changeable, between rain and sunny periods, and for the harvests the sanitary state of the berries was healthy but without a strong concentration.
