Quite floral and mineral, but without the characteristic wild herb notes that I found in less expensive Saint-Chinians. The blend is dominated by syrah, perhaps the reason for the more floral quality. More heat, more serious wine. Serve at 16C. Drink now. Food pairing idea: broiled rib steak with red peppercorns.
