Dark and vinous, with a big core of warmed red and black currant confiture, laced with alder, bay and tobacco details, backed by a loamy echo through the finish. Despite the surfeit of bass notes, the fruit sings purely all the way through. Best from 2017 through 2024. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.. –JM
